Christophe Harbour Announces Record-Setting Q1 2018

The first three months of 2018 at Christophe Harbour have sailed by with record-setting numbers and several international regattas at the superyacht marina and resort community in St. Kitts. Here’s a roundup of the year so far….

In mid-January, Christophe Harbour welcomed 16 superyachts and 205 crew members to its superyacht marina for the third-annual Caribbean CrewFest 2018. The event, in partnership with ACREW, is designed specifically for superyacht crew and has more than doubled in size since its launch in 2016.

Welcome New Food & Beverage Management Team

Christophe Harbour is delighted to welcome three new faces to our Christophe Harbour family: Katherine Somoza, Director of Food and Beverage; Miguel Somoza, Food Production and Service Manager; and Christopher Warburton, SALT Plage Manager.

Director of Food & Beverage Katherine Somoza has more than 20 years of experience in managing restaurants, hotels, and resorts around the world.  At Christophe Harbour, Katherine plans, organizes, directs, and controls the food and beverage operations at SALT Plage, The Pavilion beach club, and Peppe’s kiosk in the Marina Village as well as all banquet operations.

Sugar & Salt Gourmet Market Now Hosting Weekly Bread Sales and Wine Tastings

In just three short weeks, Sugar & Salt, Christophe Harbour’s neighborhood market, has grown in popularity and many items, including wine and spirits, are flying off the shelves. From the fresh fish and meats to the Tartuflanghe truffle pasta and Maldon sea salt, people can’t seem to get enough of Sugar & Salt Gourmet Market in the Christophe Harbour Marina Village.

Superyacht Crew Take in Third Annual Caribbean CrewFest at Christophe Harbour

From January 17-20, Christophe Harbour, in partnership with ACREW, welcomed 15 superyachts and 205 crew members to its superyacht marina for fun, games and insightful workshops in an enviable setting, post-holiday-charter season. This year’s theme was Health & Wellbeing, a hot topic for the travel industry in 2018 and an important topic for crew.

Before the learning and exploration commenced, the all-important opening night saw superyacht crew, officials from St. Kitts Tourism Authority, ACREW, and Christophe Harbour gather for a reception along the water's edge in the Marina Village.
