United Airlines to introduce more direct flights to St Kitts

By Angie Owen in Community, St. Kitts, Yachting

United Airlines has some exciting news for those looking to visit St Kitts. The airline, which last year introduced its first direct flight from New York's Newark Liberty International airport, running from December to April, has just announced that it will extend this non-stop schedule from 19 November 2016 through to autumn 2017.

By extending its St Kitts service by almost 50 per cent, United also helps extend the island's season, enabling even more visitors to conveniently experience St Kitts' charms. The flight will fly Saturdays and will take just over four hours.

With an ever-increasing number of easy, direct flights from Canada, the US and Europe, and the convenience of the exclusive private jet terminal YU Lounge, St Kitts is continually improving its accessibility to visitors and as a result, Christophe Harbour is able to solidify its position as the new gateway to the Caribbean. In just a few hours, you can go from your departure gate at home to watching the sunset at SALT Plage, joining your yacht at the marina or lounging by the pool at The Pavilion. What more could you want?
