St. Kitts and Nevis Restaurant Week July 20-29

By Katherine Verano in Dining, Events, St. Kitts

"Save the date and your appetite," says the SKN Restaurant Week website. We couldn't agree more. From wine tastings to brewery tours, painting classes to beach days, Restaurant Week is a 9-day celebration of all things food and drink.

Restaurant Week is a great time for locals, expats and visitors to get out and try new dishes and new dining experiences across St. Kitts and Nevis.

This year’s theme is Plantain and Christophe Harbour Executive Chef Barnaby Jones has put together a mouthwatering menu featuring the delightful fruit. You won’t want to miss Curried Plantain Soup with Plantain Bhaji Raita, Rum- Glazed Pork Belly with Plantain Tostones, or Pan Fried Mahi Mahi with Plantain Spaetzle. And for the sweet tooth, Chef Barnaby has Ripe Plantain Fritters, Plantain and Chocolate Tart, and Plantain, Coconut & Pandanus Crepes.

Both The Pavilion and SALT Plage are participating in Restaurant Week. The Pavilion will offer a 3-course menu for $60 US inclusive of taxes and gratuity and SALT Plage will offer a $20 US special menu. For more information on participating restuarants, visit the Restaurant Week website
