Christophe Harbour Foundation Impacting the Community

Whether it’s through generous financial support, community leadership positions, or hands-on volunteering, it takes a village to turn a good community into a great one. Since 2008, the Christophe Harbour Foundation has re-invested nearly $850,000 USD back into the larger St. Kitts and Nevis community and continues to make a positive impact on the people we meet and the places in which we live and work.

Christophe Harbour Foundation supports St. Kitts Nevis Junior Achievers Program

More than 1,000 students will benefit from funding support for the newly relaunched Junior Achievers St. Kitts-Nevis, when a major contribution from the Christophe Harbour Foundation was presented during a ceremony on 21st September, at the Ocean Terrace Inn.

US Air Force Reserve Aids Christophe Harbour Foundation & Source Relief in Operation Autism Relief

A United States AIr Force C-17 cargo plane touches down in St. Kitts loaded with a delivery of goods for the new St. Kitts Spectrum Services autism centre. 

With a little help from the United States Air Force Reserve, "Operation Autism Relief – St. Kitts" is a success. Early this morning, the Christophe Harbour Foundation in partnership with Source Relief Inc. loaded several palettes of furniture, autism therapy toys and assessment tools onto a United States Air Force C-17 cargo plane at the Charleston Air Force Base. Victoria Road Preschool Receives Fire Safety Equipment from Christophe Harbour Foundation

The Victoria Road Preschool is now able to meet its fire safety standards with the donation of fire extinguishers and smoke detectors from the Christophe Harbour Foundation.

Christophe Harbour Foundation representatives Jon Gersonde, Vice President of Operations, Akela Browne, Human Resources Manager, and Kishma Boncamper McCall, Accounting Manager officially handed over nine fire extinguishers and seven smoke detectors to Deputy Prime Minister Shawn Richards, the minister responsible for Education, as well as youth.

The occasion was a brief handover ceremony held at the Victoria Road Preschool in Basseterre on Thursday, 10th May.

Cayon High School Wins Literacy Award for St. Kitts and Nevis

Cayon High School has reason to celebrate as the school was awarded the 2017-2018 Hands Literacy Award by Hands Across the Sea.

The award recognizes Cayon High as the top school for the advancement of child literacy on St. Kitts and Nevis and two years of literacy success that resulted in a first-class lending library and an enthusiastic team of 30 Student Librarians. The Hands Literacy Award prize is USD $1,000 in new books or literacy resources of the school’s choice.
