October 2011: BIG NEWS... The Pavilion beach club is open for business. We've enjoyed welcoming members and guests to the facility and watching them lounge by the pool and sample Chef Damien's delectable menu. In addition to The Pavilion opening, a tremendous landscaping effort within Sandy Bank Bay has transformed the neighborhood into a tropical haven. Initial work is underway on the welcome center, including road grading and landscape design, which will provide a fitting introduction for our guests.
August 2011: Activity at Sandy Bank Bay is buzzing as construction on The Pavilion beach club nears completion. A tremendous landscaping effort is underway, with nearly 200 palms and 1,000 containers of plants being installed. The Pavilion beach club is scheduled to open October 4, with a grand opening celebration scheduled for early November.
July 2011: With The Pavilion beach club set to open this fall, Christophe Harbour is evolving from vision into reality. It’s exhilarating to watch the progress that gets made every day as several residences near completion and new homes break ground. We’ve completed the infrastructure work in Sandy Bank Bay and will soon commence the infrastructure work at Harbourside and Cardinal Point. We’re set to also begin a second landscaping effort focused on The Pavilion within the next few weeks. If you haven’t visited Christophe Harbour in some time, we invite you to come see our progress.
April 2011: Everyone is raving over the Beach Club since our members and guests had a sneak peak during our Member Guest event. The pool and poolside cabana have been installed, and the final touches are being put into place on the main pavilion, entry breezeway and locker rooms. The fitness center, landscaping and decking are also underway. The two homes under construction are beautiful and continue to move toward completion. A second dredge has doubled the excavation power in the harbour, which is already taking on a lovely Caribbean hue. Hiking trails to Guana Point and Cardinal Point have been cleared, with custom benches installed along the way. These trails offer some of the most spectacular (and rarely seen) views on the peninsula. The landscaping that was installed earlier in the year has really changed the appearance of the property, especially at the entry to Sandy Bank Bay and along the roadside by Windswept Villas. The Christophe Harbour team has really been working hard on the grounds and project construction this season, and it shows.
March 2011: The Beach Club is nearing completion and expected to open July 1, 2011. Interior and exterior stonework is complete, and work is progressing on the pool beachfront cabana, and fitness center. In addition to the Beach Club taking shape, the marina entry has been cut, and the harbour is taking on its Caribbean hue. Hiking trails to Guana Point and Cardinal Point have been cut and cleared. Custom benches have been installed along the way. Three homes are complete, with two more residences expected to be complete by late Summer 2011. Several others are scheduled to break ground within the next few months.
January 2011: The Beach Club is really beginning to look incredible. The roof detail of the dining pavilion is so striking, and the keystone being applied to the entry breezeway and locker room is a dramatic contrast against the blue sky and green hillside. Villa Loreanna, the home at homesite 152, is really taking shape and expected to be complete by this summer. Located above Villa Loreanna on Homesite 22, another new home is emerging. With the new home activity underway and the amazing progress at the Beach Club, Sandy Bank Bay is really beginning to look like a community .
December 2010: Construction on the Sandy Bank Bay Beach Club is really moving along. The columns for the dining pavilion have been poured, and the dining / kitchen areas are taking shape. We are still on schedule for a grand opening in April 2011. Two new homes are under construction on homesites 22 and 152, and several others are in the design review process.
Landscaping is being installed at the two complete Windswept Villas, transforming this corner of Sandy Bank Bay in to a lush oasis. Christophe Harbour Real Estate recently hosted an open house for local real estate brokers at the fully furnished four-bedroom unit, and the response was tremendous. This unit has been leased by Christophe Harbour's first resident member family.
All infrastructure within Sandy Bank Bay is complete, including utility installation and road paving. We continue to make progress on the excavation of the mega-yacht harbour channel and hope to open the "mouth" of the harbour within the upcoming months.

November 2010: Construction on the Sandy Bank Bay Beach Club is really moving along. The columns for the dining pavilion have been poured and the dining / kitchen areas are taking shape. Still looking good for a Spring 2011 opening. We have 2 new homes under construction on Lots 22 and 152, and they are moving along swiftly. The progress at the Windswept Villas has been incredible to watch. Christophe Harbour Real Estate hosted an open house for local real estate brokers, and the response was tremendous. In fact, the 4 bedroom unit has already been leased by a Christophe Harbour member. Landscaping is in progress on the 3 bedroom unit now and should be complete by end of year. We're continuing to make good progress on the excavation of the mega-yacht harbour entry and channel.
October 2010: The Beach Club is emerging at Sandy Bank Bay, with vertical construction in the dining / kitchen and entry areas taking shape. We are still on schedule for a Spring 2011 opening. As for homes, the 2 Windswept Villas are nearing completion. Furniture is being installed the week of October 18, and landscaping around the units is progressing. We have a new home, Villa Loreanna, emerging on homesite 152. This home, under construction by JACA, will be truly exquisite when complete. The owners of 3 Silver Moon Lane are planning to spend some time over the upcoming holidays in their completed home. Their landscaping is nearing completion, and they are thrilled with the paved roads that lead to their home. Speaking of roads. paving is almost 100% complete, and it's amazing to drive on what was once rocky roads and sandy paths. As the mega-yacht harbour excavation continues, the homesites at Harbourside continue to spring to life, along with the lower golf holes.
September 2010: Construction is underway at the Beach Club site, and we're looking forward to celebrating its opening in Spring 2011. Paving of the roads continue, and our sales team is thrilled that at least part of their tour is on a nice, new paved road. The two Windswept Villas are almost complete. The finishing touches are underway, and we'll be moving furniture into the units in about four weeks. Harbour excavation continues to progress, and with that work, we also get the creation of the lower golf holes along the perimeter of the harbour. We're excited to think that we might be able to see a few boats in the harbour as early as March 2011. Things are really coming along nicely. Come on down and check out our progress.

July 2010: The onsite construction and landscaping teams at Christophe Harbour continue to make great strides. Seven container's worth of landscaping has been added to the Sandy Bank Bay entry and along the Windswept Villas site. The curbing has been added, and the entry road is ready to be paved. The two Windswept Villas are almost finished, and the marina earthwork is moving along nicely - not to mention, providing the base for teh lower golf holes. We're making progress. If you haven't been to the site anytime recently, it's time to schedule a trip and see it for yourself.

Recently read about the construction of the Beach Club on Sand Bank.
What a gorgeous place to build. I only hope people are warned about the rough water and undertows on that side.

I visited St. Kitts last week. Made a special trip to the End of the island because it was such a special and beautiful place. I WAS COMPLETELY DISGUSTED, SHOCKED AND SADDENED BY WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO THE ISLAND. What used to be charming and serene is now a burned out, blackened mess….I was so sad that I saw no goats, monkies or cows roaming around. And to completely destroy the salt pond??? Seriously.I am also hugely disappointed in the government of St. Kitts for allowing such a disaster. Obviously you have no concept of green development.
By the way, the palm trees you have planted near the salt pond look absolutely stupid and do not belong there. They do not at all go with the flora in that region of the island. I will not return to St. Kitts after seeing this mess. Shame on you!
