Christophe Harbour Foundation Website Highlights St. Kitts Charitable Organizations

By Katherine Verano in Christophe Harbour Foundation

The Christophe Harbour Foundation, the charitable arm of the Christophe Harbour Development Company, has launched a web site and online application for organizations to easily apply for grant funding.  The Foundation web site includes stories, photos, and video that highlights the positive work past recipients have done for the community.  Since it was established, the Christophe Harbour Foundation has contributed to approximately 60 charitable organizations and causes across St. Kitts and Nevis and exists to support conservational, educational, recreational, cultural, historical and social development projects that enhance the environment and lives of Federation citizens.

“By having a web site dedicated to the Foundation we want to make it easy for organizations to apply for grants and allow the Foundation to quickly fund the projects that are making a meaningful impact on the citizens of the Federation,” said Bill Lee, Christophe Harbour Chief Operating Officer.  “We understand and appreciate the positive impact Christophe Harbour can have on the community, and believe through the Foundation we are a meaningful part of the community and, in fact, making a difference.”

The Christophe Harbour Foundation is funded through the sale of real estate within the resort community, individual investors, and the Christophe Harbour Development Company. As sales increase over time, the Foundation will be able contribute more, which over the course of a 20-year project, will result in considerable investment in the community.  Applications will be reviewed twice annually in April and October and organizations will be notified of their grant status within one week of the review.
