Christophe Harbour Events Welcome Guests From Near And Far

The first half of the year has been a busy one as our community welcomed guests from near and far for a host of exclusive events. The Marina at Christophe Harbour kicked the year off with two yachting events that brought superyachts and their owners, captains and crew as well as a spectacular fleet of classic sailing yachts to our shores.

The 4th annual Caribbean CrewFest event welcomed 15 superyachts and nearly 200 crew members. The event, hosted in partnership with ACREW, is designed specifically for superyacht crew and has more than doubled in size since its launch in 2016.

In Q1, the Marina also hosted the legendary Panerai Transat Classique race, a firm fixture in the offshore racing calendar....

Director of Yachting Aeneas Hollins Receives Certified Marina Operator Designation

Congratulations to Christophe Harbour Director of Yachting Aeneas Hollins for receiving his Certified Marina Operator (CMO) designation. The CMO certification is specifically designed for professionals who manage a marina's daily operation and complete an extensive training and certification process through the globally recognized International Marina Institute (IMI). As a CMO, Aeneas joins a group of marine service providers who strive to maintain the highest levels of ethical and moral conduct in their commitment to the marina industry.

Customs and Immigration officials tour ‘Customs House’

Christophe Harbour was pleased to welcome officials from Customs, Immigration and Maritime Affairs for a tour of the Customs House and construction progress onsite at The Marina at Christophe Harbour. The facility will house offices of Customs and Immigration and, as a major port of entry for yachts, will significantly help facilitate efficient processing and clearance of visiting yachts and their passengers.

Director of Yachting Aeneas Hollins provided the officials with a marina overview, which was followed by a tour of the Customs Hous facilities with Newell Shanklin, Director of Construction.

For the fifth consecutive year, the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis and Christophe Harbour report another banner year in yachting and 20% continued growth YOY since marina operations launched at the Eastern Caribbean resort community.  This positive news comes despite a reportedly slower charter season in the region.
